About

// Helvetia Motion Arts

Switzerland is home to incredible talents in visual effects, animation, video games, and motion design. Yet, with no major industry in the country, many artists must seek opportunities abroad to work on large-scale productions.

That’s why Helvetia Motion Arts was created: to inform, support, and promote Swiss artists—whether they’re working locally or making an impact internationally. Through news, interviews, and a dedicated artist directory, we aim to connect the community, celebrate achievements, and provide valuable insights for those navigating their careers in Switzerland and beyond.

If you’re an artist, a student, or simply passionate about digital arts, this space is for you. Let’s bring Swiss creativity to the world! 🇨🇭✨

With over 20 years of experience in visual effects, I have worked as a VFX artist across Switzerland, Paris, Montreal, and London before transitioning into a consultant role over the past decade.

In 2008, I founded Swiss Made VFX, a platform dedicated to promoting Swiss talent in visual effects and animation. While the site closed in 2018, its legacy continues with Helvetia Motion Arts, a renewed initiative to showcase and support Swiss artists in the industry.

In 2010, I launched The Art of VFX, which has since become a leading resource for the global VFX community. Through in-depth interviews and industry insights, the site connects professionals and enthusiasts with the minds behind some of the most groundbreaking visual effects.

As a member of the Visual Effects Society since 2012, I remain actively engaged in the industry, collaborating with studios, professionals, and organizations worldwide. My mission is to bridge the gap between artists, studios, and audiences while highlighting the creativity and technical excellence that define the world of visual effects.
